This website is published by the Franco-Chinese Energy Association (Association Franco-Chinoise de l'Énergie, AFE), a registered association (association déclarée), SIRET 849 563 952 00019, with its registered office at 84 rue Gallieni, 92500 Rueil-Malmaison, France. Contact: contact@afenergy.org.

2. What data we collect, and why

Contact form. Name, email address and message, in order to reply to your request.

Membership application form. Name, organisation, email address, membership type and message, in order to review and process your application.

Messages from the contact form and membership applications are sent by email to contact@afenergy.org. This data is not stored in the website’s administration area, is not sold and is not used for any other purpose.

3. Legal basis

Processing is based on your request, made by submitting the form, and on the association's legitimate interest in answering the requests addressed to it.

4. Retention period

Your data is kept for as long as needed to process your request, and then for three years after the last contact.

5. Recipients and hosting

The data is accessible to association members in charge of handling requests. The website is hosted by GoDaddy. Connections to the website pass through a third-party security service (Sucuri, United States), which may involve the transfer of technical data (such as your IP address) outside the European Union.

6. Cookies and third-party content

Some pages embed YouTube videos (Google). These videos are loaded only after you click to play them; YouTube may then place cookies on your device. This website does not use any analytics tool.

7. Your rights

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the French Data Protection Act, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, object to and port your data. To exercise these rights, write to contact@afenergy.org. You may also lodge a complaint with the CNIL (www.cnil.fr).
